Reviews legislation that is being proposed in the State Legislature and Congress. After their review, they recommend to the Board of Directors the direction to take on specific legislation. In addition they work closely with the Office of Banks and Real Estate to make sure any new rules or legislation being proposed is not detrimental to the membership. They discuss issues to be addressed legislatively and start the process of proposing and writing legislation that will benefit and protect the consumers and the membership.
