The mission of the Illinois Association of Mortgage Professionals Political Action Committee (IAMPPAC): To raise funds to promote favorable legislation and combat policies and bills with potential to cause harm or unfair hardship for the mortgage broker industry and develop relationships with the Illinois Legislature.

The committee is integral in raising funds for political donations to the candidates that will support our issues. The committee coordinates a lobbying trip to Springfield each year to meet with the Illinois legislators to promote our legislation or to explain why other legislation may be detrimental to the industry and the consumers of Illinois.

The fund raising involves the sale of PAC pins that includes individual Gold, individual Silver, or a Bronze (for loan officers and account representatives only) pin sponsor. The PAC also hosts several fundraising events throughout the year.

• Gold club members donate a minimum of $500.
• Silver club members donate a minimum of $250.
• Bronze club members donate a minimum of $100.
