The IAMP Industry Liaison Committee has commenced its activites for the coming year by setting as its objectives to establish and maintain communication and understanding on related issues with various real estate related trade groups. In addition, the committee will organize and sponsor joint educational opportunities with other industry groups in order to enhance the knowledge of our respective members.

The objectives of the committee will be accomplished by developing a speaker's bureau in which volunteers from the committee will address groups and promote the work and objectives of the IAMP to industry trade groups including builders, Realtorsā, title people appraisers and real estate lawyers. This speaker's bureau will educate the groups by making them aware of the activities of the Association including educational programs and community work in which the IAMP has been involved with. An external marketing piece will be developed and used to advise the groups of the availability of our members to speak at their functions such as luncheons, trade shows or even office meetings. Contact with our industry partners will take place through both print and electronic means, but mostly through personal contact.

We are excited about the new direction of the Industry Liaison Committee and are looking for people who want to address industry groups and promote the great accomplishments and progress that the IAMP has made.
