A grassroots organization whose primary function is to raise contributions to support and educate targeted federal legislators on vital issues that directly affect the residential mortgage industry. In addition to the fund raising the committee meets with congressional members or their aides to discuss the issues that are affecting mortgage brokers and the consumers. An annual trip to Washington D.C. in conjunction with the NAMB Legislative Conference includes members of the committee to call on the Congressmen or their aides and discuss the issues on a national basis.
